I just have a question… its kinda been bugging me.
Ever since a certain co-host on The View had a proverbial meltdown about it…
What is with the need for some (read that, I said SOME) white folks to want to be able to use the term “nigger” or any variant thereof?
Like… they are genuinely…
I really don’t see why white people have this fascination with this damn word. It has such a negative connotation to it for black people that even in the manner we do use it, it’s still destructive. A word that’s off limits? white people just want to use the word openly and not fear for their lives like the ‘good old days’. Like Chris Rock stated, ‘Why do you get to say it? Well last time I checked it was the only advantage I had to being black. Hell let’s switch, you say nigger and I’ll raise interest rates.’
